If you mourn the loss of most Apple-powered campuses, feel free to rejoice. Wilkes University has announced that they will replace all on-campus systems with BootCamp-enabled Macs to facilitate students OS choice. Estimates are that they will save $150,000 up front despite Apple’s slightly higher cost per unit and that they will save in the long run on support and service. Smart move, Wilkes!
