Psystar Likely Not Real Can Apple Be Considered A Monopoly?

I was rummaging through the site’s log data (we use AWstats, if you’re curious) and re-discovered that there is someone or a few someones who uses a RISC OS system to read the Dojo. I must say, I’m honored. The Dojo isn’t known for its RISC OS-oriented headlines, but RISC OS-based system users are well known as tenacious technology users. Cheers to you, our mates in the UK! Read on for more statistics on who reads the Dojo!

For the rest of you, 67.2% of our readership is using Windows, 24% is using Mac OS, and 3.6% is using some kind of Linux-based system. For browsers, Internet Explorer leads with 41.5% followed very closely by Firefox at 40% with Safari raking in 9.7%. The remaining percentage points are divvied up about equally between Opera, non-Firefox Mozilla-based, Konqueror, OmniWeb, and even Netscape!

Finally, the countries our readers hail from are (in order of readership volume): the US, China, Canada, the UK, the EU, Germany, the Netherlands, Australia, Sweden, Japan, France, Hong King, South Korea, Israel, South Africa, the Russian Federation and about twenty more. These statistics source from the methodologies used to determine the geographical location of the source user. Some use the EU while others actually specify the country, so its hard to tell where readers come from exactly.

That’s it until next quarter! Thanks for reading!
