There’s a new tradeshow in town, folks, and its heading to Las Vegas. Its called the Robot, Gizmo, and Gadget Show and it has a companion trade-only show called the World Electronics Expo. Can everyone say CES Part Deux? If it doesn’t pan out, maybe we could call it RGGWEE, Tradeshow In Tights. Don’t get too excited just yet, though. Its head to Sin City in June of next year. The RGG show will be open to everyone, but you can’t register just yet and there’s no ticket pricing information either. If I had to guess, I’d say that RGG will be showing off all kinds of existing products and mock-ups of things we might see in 10 years whereas the WEE show will be targeted at buyers, so there will be more exclusive access to pre-release gear and systems slated for near-term sales. We’ll know at some point, at which time I’ll let you in on it.
