I’m a bit on the fence with this for the moment. I’ll need to work with one for a while before I can really make a judgement about such a device. Regardless, Peek is about to start selling the Peek at  stores for US$99 with a US$20 per month service fee. Why? The Peek is a portable email-only handheld wireless device, somewhat like the early days of RIM’s BlackBerry when it didn’t have a phone component. It certainly looks slick, and I’m sure it works well, but nerds won’t want it. Then again, they may want to hack it, so then it might be cool.
