Google is a real monster when it comes to changing the way things operate, and today’s announcement goes a very, very long way in establishing that fact. Really, how many companies can get away with a homepage which includes pretty much nothing but a search field and some links and still represent everthing the company was founded on. Google’s now departing from the web only ideal and introducing a web browser called Chrome. The Windows beta will be available tomorrow with Mac and Linux versions coming soon. Shame on Google for pandering to Windows users first, too. Shame.
