Toshiba Shipping Universal Lappy Dock

For US$150 you can get a new Toshiba dynadock U Universal USB Docking Station which features DisplayLink technology which is growing in popularity. The idea is to plug a single USB cable into your lappy and get access to all of the ports on the dock, including an external monitor. I’ve not had occassion yet to try a DisplayLink-powered product, but it sounds promising. I’m just not sure USB 2.0 has the bandwidth to handle video, ethernet, and additional USB ports. It will be interesting, though, when USB 3.0 comes out.
