First Impressions: CellSpin Mobile

This will be my first blog post via CellSpin and my BlackBerry Curve 8330… if it works, of course. My initial impressions are that the interface needs work, but it seems to offer a number of features. Aside from posting text like this, CellSpin can also deal with images, audio, and video. I won’t know for sure, though until I test those features in future posts. One painful problem is that the text editor doesn’t use any of BlackBerry’s useful text editing and entry features. hopefully they’ll fix that in the next version.

[UPDATE: Now that I'm back in my regular blog editing tool, I can see that there are some additional shortcomings to CellSpin. First, I don't recall the mobile app ever asking me to enter a title or select a category. That can't be a good sign, so I'll set CellSpin aside for the time being, at least until it gets better. -TCR]
