Can Palm's Play MP3 Files?
Posted by Tyler Regas on August 19, 2002 01:26 PM
Burr, you can check out our Back To School issue of PHM Monthly for a look at some good deals or wait for the September issue's buyer's guide. As for the MP3 file storage, both are capable of storing all sorts of files on an external storage card since both have a SD/MMC slot. The only problem is that you would only be able to store them as neither model is capable of playing MP3 files. If you must have a Palm OS based device and MP3 playback, look at the top end of the Sony Clie scale or the Handspring Visor Deluxe with an media playing Springboard cartridge. Email This Story

Burr's question is: "I am a student and while I don't have a particular need for a PDA I'm interested in getting one. I've been looking at the Palm m130 and Handspring Treo 90. Which would you suggest and can I store MP3 files on either of them?"
