BSQUARE just announced the upcoming availability of their XScale-based .NET developers reference platform. The unit uses the PXA-250 processor set to 400MHz and comes with a wide array of features including 64MBs of RAM, 32MBs of ROM, a SD expansion slot, a 640x480 16-bit VGA color display, slide-out keyboard, and integrated GSM/GPRS. The device ships with a massive 1900mAh Lithium Ion battery. BSQUARE will not be offering this device as a consumer or enterprise device, but as an OEM reference platform which will allow carriers, the most likely interested parties, to modify the device to their needs.
