Insignia Updates For MIDP 2.0 Spec
Posted by Tyler Regas on November 07, 2002 08:51 AM Insignia, makers of the Geode Java runtime environment used on devices like the Sharp Zaurus SL series, has announced that they have updated their Mobile Foundation to meet the Mobile Information Device Profile's version 2.0 specification. The new version also incorporates Insignia's EasyStep architecture to assist migrating MIDP 1.0 spec code. The Insignia Mobile Foundation supports development for Nucleus, BREW, MS Smartphone, Pocket PC, Palm, and Linux environments. More information can be found at the Insignia web site. Email This Story
