Epson Unveils 32-bit "Nancy" Video Decoder Chip
Posted by Tyler Regas on November 26, 2002 12:43 PM Epson has announced the immediate availability of their new 32-bit S1C33 RISC microprocessors which support the Nancy CODEC in hardware. The first product in the line will be the S12C33209. The chips, which are available in several QFP compliant pin packages, are capable of real-time decoding of Nancy encoded media. Test boards with audio and video I/O capabilities will be available to developers. Pricing information was not released. Email This Story
