It is now time to unveil one of the things I’ve been working on which has been taking up a lot of my time and not leaving much for my loyal readers. I announce to you fonfaq.com. Yes, its lowercase intentionally and it is pronounced Phone Fack. Why not head on over and take a look. Its all in the logo

fonfaq will be the #1 source for how to do anything with any mobile phone, period. It is our aim to be one of the most travelled sites on the entire internet and I believe we can do that within 12 months time. In part it will involved a lot of very hard work and dedication from the small team now, but we will also count on our community to deliver as well. 

I don’t know if I can commit to more time on The Dojo now that fonfaq.com has kicked off in its obligatory Beta stage, but we’ll see. I’ll do what I can and I will never forget my loyal readers. I’ve got something special planned for you guys Don’t bother asking. You’ve already seen how well I can keep a secret.

Ok. Here’s the deal. I’m writing just about 99% of the time now, so I’m going to return to writing on Mobodojo. Its only fair, since I’ve been on a break now for around a month, and you’re not getting too much out of it. Its only fair that I give you what you want anyway. As such, I will start posting again. I’ll see how much I can deliver on a daily basis and we’ll just go from there. When I get the time, I’ll put together some more podcasts. We’ll just play it by ear, okay?

With the way things are going, I’ll be posting the next podcast on Sunday! Neato. I might actually get it up on the day its supposed to go up. Patience is a virtue. Tardiness is a curse.

I’d say that my post title sums it all up rather neatly. Rats and cats, peeps. Anyway, I do have some good news which I can’t tell you about right now, so my stoking you up is useless. Lets just say that I’ve had a couple projects on the burners which are going to go live in the next few weeks. These are things you are really going to dig, by jove, so don’t go all Alexa on me, like 4 of my readers did

Fascinating, isn’t it! Its like a guy needs to be an entire freaking production staff with money and everything just to get a frigging podcast done! Its all me, kids! Don’t blame yourselves in the least. If I didn’t have a billion things to do at the same time I’d be able to knock this thing out lickety split!

I know that you don’t come to Mobodojo to read about me. You come here to read about mobile technology and other cool, pocketable gear. That’s what I love and you love it with me. So, I’m not going to go into exhaustive details about what a hell of a ride this migration to podcasting has been. I’m sure you get it. I just noted, though, that my Alexa rank has shot up to over one million. The funny thing is that I’m getting about the same number of readers I usually do. The only thing I can figure this means is that the number of readers (listeners?) I have is a very small proportion of my overall readership quotient. I guess when two or three of them stop dropping by it makes my ranking drop precipitously. Again, that’s odd since I still have a strong readership. Oh well. I guess Alexa isn’t as important as I thought it was. Just me musing :) 

Now, as to the podcast, I’m running that Chupacabra down ASAP, likely tomorrow. To tide you over, Arlen Specter, Mr. Centrist Republican himself, has ditched the extreme Right to adopt lodgings with the Communist, Stalin-loving Democrats. BTW, I’m a dem.

I was waylaid by something else which I was compelled to take care of and I have a commitment tonight which I can’t step out on… Soooooooo, that means I’ll be recording the podcast tomorrow. Hell, I should just make it for Tuesday!!
